Each panel was 7x8 minutes. Total about four hours. Will add five more tonight. Two on the RHS and three along the bottom.
Then OIII and RGB when the Moon is gone.

Nice work.
How much overlap do you need for the mosaic to work well?

You must be very pleased with your amazing new kit Bert, your output has been prodigious and all of the highest quality. Very impressive.
What software do you use for your Mosaicking? I produced a 27000 x 6700 pixel image in my last job for a client (microscope image of fabric). I tried using Adobe PhotoShop but had little luck till a friend put me on to Microsoft ICE - worked perfectly first time.
Cheers,

I have tried many 'stitching' programs and all fail at very dense star images.
RegiStar has been my best friend but it is only 32 bit so it is limited as to what size mosaic you can make.
To tell you the truth Cam I thought that MICE would be another valiant attempt at the impossible.
It works like a charm. Not only does its algorithms take individual stars into account, it also seems to, no it does almost eliminate colour gradients. This is the major nightmare when making mosaics.
What is even better being 64 bit there is no practical limit of the size and resolution of very large mosaics.
I will put up some images shortly.
here is a large image done with mice 10MB
