Single 120sec exp. Stars are slightly egged, no real effort in alignment, just placed mount on markers, worked out the 3 star align and used the goto to find it :D

Still learning how to drive my new NEQ6 pro. Very happy with it.

Thanks Andrew and yeah the forecast looks good. I will be getting some zzzz's in the afternoon so I'm full of beans come night time. I am just starting to get the hang of my new mount and am like a kid with his favourite toy :D sometimes it seems there are not enough hours in the night. Good luck.

Hi here is a link to youtube where it shows the Comets path well. Imaged early this morning. 6x 2 min images made into a GIF then saved as an AVI in Virtualdub.

Nice animation and photo.

F6 goes through Crux beginning the 18th. Should make some nice shots then too.

Cheers Kevin. It is alot more enjoyable now with the eq6. The eq3 tracking was fun but prone to a bit of errror( both on my behalf and the mounts ) haha. Will be even better when I get to guide one day. Can't wait for it to move into the Crux area :)

Thanks Paula. It was another learning curve making the gif and trying to get it onto YouTube. Learning all the time
