I had a go at the Tarantula Nebula using my SBIG ST4000.
I used my Celestron HD Edge11 on a CGEM mount for tracking only, with no guiding instructions to the mount.

I used the SBIG AO8 adaptive optics unit only for guiding for the first time.
The image is a stack of 2x10 minute exposures.
The AO8 did a very nice job guiding and made the guiding process very simple.

The ST4000 has captured some good detail and star colours.

like your result - but you might want to look at cropping the image slightly to remove the stacked edge to the left.

Looks good, the A08 certainly seemed to do the trick. What was the focal length?
