Hi folks - hope you have all had a relaxing Christmas.

here is my latest acquisition from California; a gorgeous galaxy triplet in Pegasus. Lots of background galaxies but what is most interesting is how NGC 7771 almost seems to be generating the stream of dust it appears to be sitting in.

LRGB image consisting of 11:2:3:4 hours for a total 20 hours, taken with the 17" Planewave and Apogee U16M.

Hope you like it.

I am going to bed now :( No chance of imaging STILL here in QLD, and for the foreseeable future.

Great processing MP.

Sorry Martin but to me it looks a bit over colored and unreal.
But that is my own opinion.

I agree with Fabiomassimo. The star trails from galactic carnage is captured in a manner I have never seen before. Wow!

Fantastic Martin!

Certainly the most interesting image, must be an absolute joy to see all this detail emerging from your image.

Cheers,

Justin.

What can you say? (newbies note: without a governmental budget, this is as good as it gets)

The superlatives are getting just a little hard to find....

Magical suff Martin. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Great data and smooth detailed processing. I find the dust and gas trails interesting and intriguing. Not sure about the cyan stars in the galaxy and the large stars. Everything else is great though.

Hi Martin,
that's a top image & certainly compares well with this APOD:

Your wider FOV gives even more interest.

Very nice as usual Martin with outstanding detail. I've not seen this grouping before. Not 100% convinced by the colour though.

Cheers
