I view three or four Astronomy forums reasonably regularly...I have to say -that for the topics I follow-this has got to be the most active...

It's a real community effort, everyone is participating, chipping in, helping out and building this community.

I appreciate the support everyone has given me and the site. It's clear that something like this was really missing from the southern lands and i'm pleased to have been able to start the ball rolling.

As we continue to grow like we have been, we must ensure that we continue to keep a friendly, family feel and make everyone feel welcome, and feel like they can post without fear of being judged or ridiculed.

There's already been some great friendships made through these forums, let's keep it going and build up to the next 10000 posts!
