View Full Version here: : Jupiter May 15
Went through the few avi's I haven't binned during imaging runs over the last week or so.
For the sake of posting something ... and to feel as though the time wasn't completely wasted:lol:
Once again... Canberra's seeing monster reigns supreme and terrorises the skyscape!
No wonder Bird drives thousands of Ks to escape the muck.

Looks pretty good to me Matt.
If you think Canberra's seeing is bad, wait until you see my next lot of jupiter images from last night...We'll see who reigns supreme in the crap image department! (That's if I bother to post 'em at all)
Come on mate. Post em. It'll give me a boost:rofl:

Ah...I'm on a downer at present, I just wanna burn the scopes & camera's & be done with it...1 semi decent image since buying the C9.25.
Not happy.
Well, you know you're not on your own with those feelings, mate.
And at least you've captured at least one great image. I'm still waiting on mine!!!!!:mad2:
I wouldn't describe your best image as semi-decent. I thought you images were/are very respectable.
If I'm not giving in (just yet) ... you hang in there. We frustrated imagers need each other:lol:

Good one Matt,
There is always tomorrow which brings another night. The next 10/10 seeing conditions night is getting closer.
Like the detail.

Hey Matt
You are onto some really good stuff there. The Jupiter image you posted looks very much like my efforts from Brisbane when the seeing is less than average. This means that you seem to have everything in place now - all you need is one of those nights of good seeing, like we had in Brissie on 4th Feb, 14th April and 4th May.
Well done for persevering.
Cheers
Dennis
Yep. The seeing here is generally less than average, Dennis. It's great that it's so very consistent!
