High level hexagonal Ice crystals were producing 22deg solar halo's around the GC monday, took a short drive to Surfers for some prominant building compositions and fortunately Halos were still in the making ?
1st is the New Soel building and the 2nd being the Q1.
Images shot in Raw for processing purposes needed !
Low ISO's, High F/stops, near 1000th depends on cloud thickness !
Hope worth a sqizz !

Appreciate the comments/feedback Laurie, Carlos, Justin & Darren !
I've kinda been lazy and just stick the thumb in the frame, the buildings are almost a better concept, well if you didnt want to drive ? : )
Cheers !
Great shots Bob, a bit of a Stonhenge feel to it.
I keep expecting a Druid to pop out. :D

Had to hunt this thread down so I could add a new Capture, but with a difference ? This 22deg Lunar Halo behind the Q1 building on the GoldCoast I took last night 26th Mar !
Thought it was appropriate so can compare to the prev Solar Halos, I was quite impressed with the vast difference with the Lunar halo and mixing the city night lights etc with the composition ! Unfortunately the Cloud did not open any further for the fuller halo circle, tho the cloud does add some drama ,,
Hope it worth the Sqizz ,,
