Hi,

This image of NGC 3324 is the centre panel from my recent mosaic which I've processed seperately.
Now I'm on holidays there is more time to spend processing the data and I think there's a lot more detail than my previous image of this DSO.

Constructive critisism welcome.

Equipment.

Skywatcher ED80, orion mini guider, orion field flattener, HEQ pro 5 mount.
Unmodded canon 1100D, 8 minute subs at iso 800, total 96 minutes.
Same for 80mm wide field.
Darks, flats and bias frames applied.
Stacked in DSS and processed in PS7.

That's a fair effort. I like how star you have maintained a lot of colour in the stars.

Magnificent! You should post links to larger/better quality images for us to enjoy :)

The only bit of constructive criticism I can offer is to watch out for the dark halos around stars when sharpening. Here's a nice and short article that explains the issue and one way to avoid it:
