Getting a camera lens and gear I am not using has to go:

http://upload.pbase.com/image/147979873 Pentax 300mm 67 F4 caps, case lens is clear
http://upload.pbase.com/gregbradley/image/147979740 rear view of lens $350 mailed to Oz. Reduced to $300. These go on Ebay for between $350 and $500.

http://upload.pbase.com/image/147980119 3 Quantaray lenses 18-50 28 to 90 and 100 to 300mm for Nikon all 3 for $150 mailed to Oz. Reduced to $100. I paid $400 about 12 years ago. They are in excellent condition and would suit a small Nikon DSLR.

Pentax 67 adapters are plentiful and cheap on Ebay for both Canon and Nikon and probably other cameras. These are excellent for astrophotography as they have approx 84mm of backfocus which is more than most any other brand. The 55mm works well stopped down 1 stop and bin your camera 2x2. The 300mm will work well without stopping down. The Nikon 50mm F1.8D is a very bright lens and is great for nightscape shots. The Quantaray lenses are great value for terrestial photos.

I reduced the 300mm and the Quantaray lenses.

I think I will keep them lower than that as 300mm is very handy for a lot of objects like a widefield Orion that gets the Horsehead as well, Vela Supernova Remnant (4 image mosaic would cover it well).

This lens would also excel for using narrowband but chromatic aberrations seem easy to handle. I use the 165mm and I get rid of the occassional magenta halo with selective colour. Easy. Especially when the ED version of the lens sells for US$1900.
