Saxon 8inchf/6 dobsonian. Comes with single speed crayford focusor. 25mm Celestron plossl eyepiece. Upgraded viewfinder 8x50 correct view right angle. Modifications to the mount include, pivot shaft assembly made from solid aluminium with adjustable felt lined plate washer, to vary movement due to lazy susan bearing in base. This enables smooth high power tracking, much improved on original set up. Picture shows two double sets or roller bearings on vertical axis. The tube extension was added to allow for imported Parks primary, and will be removed on sale with original mirror installed. The Parks mirror cost me $490.00 to get here on its own and could be sold with scope by negotiation. Price with original mirror $295.00 Pick up only. As i live on Tamborine Mountain i could meet buyer on Gold Coast or Brisbane, although the mountain can be a good place to try the scope out. The odd leg on side of base is for adjustment on sloping block.
