I just took this image with my webcam. It's the first time I've used it since setting it all up. Image was made from avi in Registax. Still not 100% up with it, but happy enough with my first effort. Not overly dark outside yet, but I think it looks OK. Can anyone see anything obvious that I should / could change?

Hi Stuart!
Good start! I have just had a go at the moon myself and I find the seeing quite poor tonight in my corner of SA. So, as a result, imaging isn't going to be great tonight. Good enough for experimenting though!
Keep the pictures coming.

Hi Eric. It's not bad where I am on the eastern side of the ranges at the minute. Chilly outside but the mozzies have been giving my leg a flogging. I saw your pics when I was posting mine. They look good. I might try again tomorrow night on Jupiter and maybe M42.
In the immortal words of Big Kev, "I'm excited!" Adds a new dimension to the hobby.

Thank Stuart.
I am in the Southern Adelaide Hills. I've been out again. It's no good for me. The Moon is as bad as earlier and Jupiter is no better. Oh, well. I'll try again tomorrow.
Eric
