Hi All

I grabbed an image of this interesting prominence that was a solar feature on the 18th of December. See also Paul Haese's posting for similar image taken on the same day to see how its structure changed. Conditions were average and the image is a little soft at this magnification level.

The other image was taken the previous week, showing some interesting filamentary structure. Thanks.

Nice prom and surface images Ted. Seeing can be a problem at times, but these are great results.

It's images like this that leave me staggered - backyarders being able to image the surface of the sun with such magnification.
