G'day all,
Well, I didn't expect to have another image so quickly, but what do you know I have actually got some level of automation hapenning! So I was able to take 15 x 10 minutes + 5 x 10 minutes (darks) + bias + park the mount while I slept.
Hence I have a new image and am very happy that the telescope didn't break it's self while I slept :)

This field is interesting yet boring at the same time. Perhaps I'm starting to analyse these things too much, but:
- PGC 96819 really looks like it's distorted, like one of those galaxies that is lensed in the hubble shots. When I enhance the image to see just the detail of this galaxy I'm sure the bottom hooks around a reasonable amount, and it has a distinct bannana shape. Who knows, I wouldn't know how to find out more info on this guy.
- PGC 993390 shows quite nice spiral structure, especially when enhanced to concentrate on him.
- The bulk of the remaining galaxies are quite featureless dots, particularly ones like PGC 96824 which is not only faint but looks like just an eliptical fuzzy blob. I wonder if this is due to the age of galaxies at Mag 19+ that most would be this kind of structure?

Moving on to a new FOV hopefully Saturday night before then attempting a couple of requests people have sent through and maybe that illusive hubble south DF :D (good for a laugh perhaps).
