Hey everyone.
If i bought a Astromaster 130 EQ with a motor drive, would it be good for Astrohptography?

I don't know how much they are, but if you want to future proof your purchases for really getting into this hobby I would look for a scope with ability to autoguide.
This I think will give you good lunar and maybe bright planetary views and maybe even pics with a webcam type set up.
Maybe a struggle to get DSLR or CCD longer exposures with it on this mount.
I personally would save your pennies and buy a second hand EQ 6 or CGEM. Would keep you occupied for years!
Just my opinion.
Good luck
Graham.

I'm afraid not.
Oh, you'll probably be able to go as long as a couple of minutes exposure time, if you align it really well by doing a good drift align.
If I were you I would head to your nearest Astro Society and get along to one of their Star Parties. You'll be able to see a variety of imaging set ups while they're working, and ask any questions you like about them. :)
