"Country Life"

A field of canola in full bloom beneath the central band of The Milky Way. Zodiacal light appears to stream upwards from the horizon as the last glow of daylight fades.

This was taken on the 9th of October 2012 shortly before my "Aurora Australis" and "Midnight Rainbow" images.

Haha. Thanks so much Mike :D It has to be from the archives lately. Work and the poor weather conditions have prevented me from doing much photography at all lately. Really keen to get out and get some new shots.....

Sweet Greg. Again you have a great eye for composition using simple and common elements (proving you don't have to travel to the Rockies or Chile for great nightscapes!). And the twilight is a great excuse for a very blue sky ;)
