I wonder is it Sydney's seeing condition or processing issue? I noted similar set ups (C11 and DBK or DMK) from Brisbane and where else produced significant higher resolution.

Nice effort Mark. Looks to me like some bad seeing. Did you have your scope out to cool down? Reckon a 14" would take a good 4-5 hrs but it would depend on where it was stored.

yep i had my scope out for about 6 hours plenty of time. I think i need to take a look at the collimation and i did have some dew on my corrector. Btw im using the stock focuser. I only took about 2000 frames per avi. Im not sure if that is long enough each avi was about 500meg.

good image for a first Jupiter, especially with it so low down. looking forward to more of your images.
