The skies finally cleared yesterday in Melbourne. It was reported in the media that Melbourne had only experienced 2 hrs of sunlight in the previous 5 days!! So did an imaging session with Maurice Valimberti and his 740k ToU Cam on my 12.5" scope under quite average conditions and will have some shots to compare with a NextImage camera soon.

Processing used was splitting into RGB, 150 frames stacked and processed in Registax then processed and recombined in Astra Image.

Very nice John, you're coming along nicely in your processing. That's a much nicer looking final result.

You know Maurice? Would you mind PM'ing me his email address (if he doesn't mind)?

Would be great if he joined the forum too.. would love to see his images posted here and pick his brain.
