Good beginner friendly event this Fri or Sat, 14/15th?

Hi guys,

Is there a good beginner friendly event happening around Sydney this Fri or Sat? I'm keen to get my new (and first) scope out and let it see new (and first) light. :)

Any recommendations appreciated!

If the weather stays fine, there is a gathering at the Pony Club at Mangrove Mountain (Central Coast) this Saturday.

We would normally get between 5-20 scopes up there, and everyone up there is happy to share their light around.

There is a thread in this section about it. Regular updates are posted on the day, as to whether it will be on or not. So if not, it will save you a trip.

Also, there is a sticky at the top of the section, with instructions on how to get there.

You're certainly welcome to come along. Hopefully, we will see you there.
