DFK.31AF03.AS camera issues

Hi! all, I have the DFK 31AF03.AS camera which I have used for yonks with the Astro II DC software as it is a firewire version -on my Mac.
I recently tried to use it and though I could get a picture I couldn't record.
Also when I went to check the camera properties all the options are greyed out.
I know Milton Aupperle who wrote the software has retired from Astro II DC now and the website is gone, so what can I use for a firewire camera on a Mac for this little camera?

I have found that Videoglide Capture works for firewire DFKs .Just thought I would answer my own question for posterity.:question::thumbsup:

There is also Craterlet, from Mr PHD.
