New Zealand - Lake Matheson at Fox Glacier

I heard about the reflection in the lake of Mt Cook and Mt Tasman so as soon as the clouds cleared I gave it a go. I reckon I was about 20 minutes too late as the sun had actually set but will go beck in the morning and try again. Still very happy. Canon 400d. Beautiful country.

It's all about timing. But what a tranquil place which your photo still shows quite well! Would love to do a trip there one day.

This is one of my favourite places and I go there each time to try and capture it differently. It's a nice little walk out there in the dark! Look up my image on here "Mystic Dawn" and "Alpenglow Masterstroke" to see what it looks like during magic hour. :)
