Hi,

My improvements on M104 (i include the first one I did...poorly)
registaxed 2x 151 sec exposures, ISO 1600, EOS 20Da, unguided. That's the one without label on the pic, I also processed another single exposure included here too.
I'd spent a bit of time trial and error style working on drift alignment for the first time...
Despite the Moon at about 80%, there wasnt a hint of a breeze so i couldnt resist a trial.

not perfect but as StrongmanMike would say, it's an improvement on the previous one.

Now I'm off to work on 3.5 hours of sleep :P (and running late already...)

good to see, good improvements. I have yet to attempt this myself, so thanks for showing the way!

Very goodly pics, and trial and error method .... T&E appears to be the best way to learn as all the book readin', Net Surfin', discussin' with mates just doesn't compare to actually trottin' out the back-yard (paddock in your case), squatting by the scope and playing with buttuns, dials, knobs and assorted attachments. I can hear your heaving breathing in anticipation from here ....

I'd like Spearo's budget and gear but happy to accept Striker's ... guess you'll be abandoning the toilet rolls, duct tape, and clamps then ...:D

I spent the night up to the wee hours too !! Fixing my comp ...
