Just had to post this image taken with the C6SE last Sunday night (2nd December). Taken with a TV 3x Barlow and DBK618 camera.
You're probably getting sick of me going on about my C6SE, but this really is one gem of a little scope!

That's pretty impressive Ivan! The little C6 is a performer.
Keep it up.

fantastic detail for a 6 inch scope well done. It really shows how great the DBK618 camera chip really performs.Ivan is the C6se a china made scope?

Wonderful image Ivan :) I'm thinking of grabbing a C6SE as a gran n go scope. There are so many positive reviews on it out there.

Mark, I assume it's a made in China. I bought it new about 2 years ago.
The DBK618 is really good. OK, it's Jupiter and it's at opposition, but even so, I'm impressed that through a 3x barlow that capture was done with a 75% full histogram at 60 fps.
I assume you mean GRAB and go:lol:. Yeah, it is great for that.
For example, in this case I had the C11 doing some time series photometry, and I set the C6 up to see if it was worth interrupting the program to get some Jupiter images. Needless to say, I switched over to Jupiter on the C11.

Thanks JJJ, yes, on bright objects like the moon and planets, it's a wee ripper.
Yep, I bought this planning to dedicate it to a survey project, but was so surprised at how well it worked for visual, I ended up using it for that most of the time.

Wow, that is impressive!
I've just paid for a C6, it'll be here any day now.
Only planning for visual, but that image is giving me ideas! :)
Cheers
