Finally - a night good enough to get the equipment out.
First time trying some HA imaging. Decided to go with an easish target: Orion.
Also grabbed some RGB so i could try some blending.
Happy with the results, although it needs more data. Very noisy.
HA: 20min subs
RGB: 5min subs
A little disappointed at the HA in a way. Was expecting more from 20min subs. Was using an ED80 @ f4.8.

That's impressive, there is a good depth to the Nebula in the HA - Trevor

Thanks all.
I didn't realise it but there was splochy very high cloud when these were taken. Couldn't see it until the sun started to rise and these white whisps came out.
It was one of those:
"Oh... :(" moments.
And Saturday was marred by a bush fire. Atmosphere a complete soup.

WOW... looking at that image makes me want to try something I didn't do before... use the 8SE as a guide scope and the 80mm refractor to image some of the bigger nebulas... that image is breath taking.
