That's a blinder, you've really captured the rays from a drammatic angle. I like it

Thanks very much fella's :-)) I appreciate the nice comments!, Tycho would have to be my favourite moon feature, as you said Robert its very dramatic eh - got some more pics to check out/process - 130 shots actually! had a bad case of shutter fever ;)

hey Bazz cheers mate, marshall's are definately the go eh, might try a cheaper way for next time and just finally make a hartmann's mask lol! i guess i could use the laptop? might try that too?
no sorry jupes arent real good, I think you really need a high quality high/moderate power plossyl? (preferably a 2" ep :-( ) like the Tak 12mm we've seen used with great results, coz the barlowed large ep is just too dim to use higher than the 60/125sec shutter speeds on the planets I reckon. and i am crap at stacking them so far :P pity we cant get an image as good as what we can see with the eye :( that would be something!
here's a couple more moonages close up
both single shots, first is plain 24mm ep/3x optical zoom i think? 60/sec - same set up otherwise
I know the crater next too the ridge is Cleomedes crater.
and the tiff format rocks, :) like we suspected, heres a low power view 24mm ep, didnt fit in fov properly :P not the sharpest pic of the lot but nice anyway

Thanks Asi and RB :-)
here's some more including one of the only two shots that I fitted the moon in fully (i have added some width tho as it only just fitted in) not the sharpest one,
a couple of jupes for Barry one with Io and Callisto (faint) and GRS (wasnt that occultation of Europa nice early on)
and a blurry close up with Crater Aristarchus as the main feature
all shots are single exposures as usual
