Milky Way from the ISS

This amazing shot of the Milky Way galaxy from onboard the ISS was created by stacking and processing 52 images from a timelapse sequence captured by astronauts on the ISS. Original images courtesy of the Earth Science and Remote Sensing Unit, NASA Johnson Space Center, and were 0.5s exposures @ ISO12800 with a Nikon D3S and 24mm f/1.4 lens. The ISS was over the Nullabor when this shot was taken. Hugh used DSS, PixInsight and Photoshop for processing.
