Transit of Venus - once in a lifetime event!

If you missed the 2004 Transit of Venus, then the upcoming Transit of Venus on the 6th June 2012 is a must-see once in a lifetime event.

The last Transit of Venus in any of our lifetimes is now only 3 weeks away! On the 6th June 2012, the planet Venus will cross the disc of the Sun - for the first time since 2004, and for the last time until 2117!

So exactly when and where do you have to be to see it? How do you observe the sun safely during a transit? What's the best way to photograh it? Why is a Transit of Venus so rare? What's the historical significance of a Venus Transit?

All these questions and more are answered in the article I've written, which you can read here:

Transit of Venus across the Sun - 6th June, 2012. Observing/Imaging Guide.
