If you are after a cheap GPS and electronic bits

Hello all.

With the demise of most of the Dick Smith stores, there are some bargains to be had if your quick as they are selling almost everything cheap.

If you are after a hiking/4wd style GPS, they have the Garmin GPSMap 62s model for $230 at the moment, about half retail and around $20 under Net prices. This model has Barometric altitude and 3-axis tilt compensated compass.

You can also pick up all the Auz/NZ topo maps on DVD for 130 to suit.

Plenty of the GPS units left at the Epping (Vic) store.

Plenty of other bargains, 20 watt 12V Solar panel for $50, different stuff in each store.

Only thing not discounted are Apple products. Not allowed to apparently.
