Venus Transit - Adelaide, South Australia

So far not too much luck with the cloud - hopefully will disperse as the morning goes on. However, the cloud did thin out enough to capture a couple of shots. Would be nice if the sun stayed out a little longer so that I could refine the focus.

But cannot really complain.... only purchased the Baader solar filter Monday night from a local vendor who had one left in stock for an ED80.

This image is capture with the 50D and the ED80 on the AZ4 mount.

Hopefully if it does clear, will then attempt some imaging with the DMK21.

Thanks for looking and hopefully it clears up for everyone!

Cheers,

Daniel
