Anyone know what this is?.

Can anyone tell me what this is?..I ordered a right angle view finder for a Canon Eos, but recieved this instead. Im not sure what it is and id like to find out before I send it back. The only markings are on the box, "Toushejing 52mm"
It looks like some sort of diagonal, theres an element on the bottom aswel under the cap.
If you know what it is, and want to buy it, let me know..

It is for fooling people into thinking you are shooting something else. It looks like a tele but the mirror means you are shooting 90 deg away from there. The barrel probably rotates so you can shoot in any direction (left/right/up/down/etc).

The sort of thing private detectives love.

I think Andrew is on the ball.... screw it to the front of any lens with a 52mm filter thread and shoot incognito

Spylens

Here is a YouTube link showing someone using the “spy-lens”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeK_ZQutdP4&feature=related
And here is where you can buy one.

Doesn’t anyone know how to use Google? Mystery solved, Andrew and Simon knew what it was.
