Televue ethos 13mm Smart Buy

Televue ethos 13mm Smart Buy
Excellent condition
Televue ethos 13mm
Excellent condition
It is powered by the light of the Stars.

Comes with the original Televue Box
The Tele Vue 13mm Ethos Ultra Wide Angle Eyepiece is the first astronomical eyepiece with 100° apparent field of view. For a given magnification, it shows 50% more sky than the previous widest-field oculars. While sharpness is inherent to the optical design, contrast is maximized through the intelligent use of flat finished baffles and ultra low reflectance, high efficiency coatings tuned to the composition of each element.

The Ethos is essentially multiple eyepieces, delivering the true field size of a longer focal length, narrower apparent field eyepiece with the benefits of higher power and darker sky background. It can fit both 1.25" and 2" type telescopes.

Accepts DIOPTRIX astigmatism correcting lenses. This allows those with astigmatic vision to enjoy the sharpest viewing experience they've ever had, without using their glasses.
Can be combined with Barlows and Powermates for higher magnifications, without being subject to vignetting.
Will accept 48mm filters by adding the optional EBX-2120 2" extension tube.

She's been a good eyepiece to me and it will be sad to let her go.
  • Unprecedented 100° apparent field of view telescope eyepiece takes the spacewalk experience to the next level
  • Field of view is 50% larger than 82° Tele Vue Nagler eyepieces
  • High power and enormous field of view serves up a large image with darker sky background
  • Incredibly sharp across the entire 100° eyepiece apparent field of view
My price: Email for Price. POA ( Price on Apllication)

It is easy enough to simply write a PM to inquire about the price as I did two days ago. However, as it should be apparent from the duration that this EP has been available no one thus far appears to consider the price (once disclosed) sufficiently attractive for purchase.

If he does ... ... I suspect a ' Black Limo ' will arrive on his ' driveway ' .. and Profiler will never be seen or heard of again.

LOL - I liked everyones comments.

However, it is his thread and he can make his sale however he wants. The price is no real secret - just send a PM asking how much.

Although I certainly agree - I don't know where 'hot and sexy' comes into the sale of an eyepiece.

Well it appears the "Smart Buy" system for selling gear is not that spectacular after all lol.
