Hi Richard

Had a look at one at Sirius Optics in Brisbane a couple of weeks ago. They had a 'field day'. The CaK is not as good as the Ha for visual observing but is better for photography. They had one hooked up to an Orion Solar System camera and the images were very good with the structure of promeniences clearly defined and surface details a lot clearer than with a Ha. Apparently Meade have programmed their #497 Hand Controller to the LXD75 mount with the Sun as a SAO object allowing full tracking of the Sun. Sirius Optics had this setup but it seemed a bit of overkill to see a 'little' PST on a LXD 75 Mount but it worked well.
