New Scope

Hi Guys,

I'm very new to posting on this forum. I have been using mostly as a source of information and have decided it's finally time to contribute back.

I've decided to downsize my setup from a CGEM 925 to a new Orion ED102 CF refractor as my back didn't enjoy the lifting after some spinal surgery.

I picked it up today in Bintel and all I can say is wow. It looks stunning! I'll be mostly using it for imaging, so I look forward to seeing how it performs and will post some first lights once this weather clears!

Cheers,
Mitch

Good question. I was a little bit impatient as I wanted to buy a scope for my birthday and couldn't track down a WO within that time frame. It didn't help that one was pulled out in front of my in the shop today and I simply couldn't resist There is something about carbon fibre

I'll add some pictures tomorrow when I put it up on the mount.

My fault about the weather. Just as it was becoming nice!!
