it's perfectly time for her majesty: Messier 82

hi guys!

it's been a while since my last image-post to the list here.
lots of activities that are linked more to public educational tasks
rather than photography.
anyway. I took the time to process collaborational data on M82, that
hovered a while
on the hard-drive...since spring-time...

my close friend and "apo-brother" torsten grossmann and me we collected
some
image-data on m82. even though we were not blessed with good
transparency during the time of data-acquisition
(we had siginificant differences in "distribution of moistness and
cirrus) it still was fun to operate the systems at least (-:

the image should be availabe here:
http://www.stargazer-observatory.com/m82-medium.html

all data can be found here:
http://www.stargazer-observatory.com/

thanks for looking!
and best wishes !

dietmar and torsten

Oh my, that's wonderful. The Ha structures are incredible along let along the soft colour in the galaxy. I wish so bad we could see this one from "down under". So good to have you posting again Dietz.
