Million Dollar Views For Free
Hi from very North in Western Australia, yep we, Alice and I have been enjoying the free camping experience and enjoying million dollar views
from nearly every place we stop, we rarely stay in Caravan Parks if we can get out of it.
We even stay a few days if it is good, and this one was better than good,
one has to see it to appreciate the view, and the colour of the scenery as the sun sets and rises, awesome stuff.
This place is called Ngumban Cliff, and is 96Klm's NE of Fitzroy Crossing in the Kimberleys on the WA side
To top it all off the nights are ink black, not a light to be seen in any direction.
Just thought I would share these with you, hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
Alice and Leon

Awesome Leon, there's nothing like rubbing in in.
You are one lucky bugger to be able to enjoy that scenery.
Just wait until I win Lotto tonight, Kee and I will be parked right next door to you.

Awesome Leon,
Ive been up there too and the scenery is just amazing. I love the third pic....It almost looks like mist rolling down the slopes ( the spinfex looking stuff).
Great pics of the Rig too!

Wonderful red dirt. Thanks for sharing Leon. Making me homesick for my old stomping grounds when I was Jackarooing up that way.

Molly, the Stars are like diamonds and the Milky Way actually casts a shadow, that is how black it is out there.

Luck !
I don't think so.
This has obviously been carefully planned and worked towards for some time.
Nice pics Leon.
Nice spot too.
We are just back from a month touring the Flinders and outback SA.
I hope to be in the Kimberleys some time soon.
Can you sent us the GPS for your wonderful camp spot ? Please.
Enjoy the fruits of your labour.
thanks for sharing

Allan I most certainly can.
If you use a Free Camps book, either 5 or 6 it is number 636, in the WA section
If not than here are the coordinates.
Ngumban Cliff Lookout
Rest area 96 km SE of Fitzroy Crossing, or 192 km W of Halls Creek.

That's great Leon. Living the dream. Some time lapses would be awesome. You've still got that Canon of yours right?

Thanks Leon!
Yes we stayed almost entirely in listings of Camps5.
Looking to upgrade to a new GPS with Camps 6 preloaded shortly.
Between that and the CMCA Wanderers mate, makes travelling more affordable for retirees.
But wait... you have phone/internet coverage there too. How's that work?
