Taken during a teacher conference at the Parkes Radio Telescope on 14th May 2010. Beautiful dark skies so taken through a W/O Flt 110 and guided with PHD and stacked in DSS and photoshop CS3. Camera is a QHY-9 and I am still learning both using and processing LRGB images.
7 x 5 minute luminence 1x1 binning with 3 x 2 minute of each RGB 2x2 binning. No flats as I still have challenges taking these.
I have also posted some photos in the general chat as we were lucky enough to walk inside the dish on a tour.
