That song could really discourage wannabe guitarists.
Unfortunately the only time I saw Focus they were terrible. The group was about to break up and it sounded that way. The support group (Sebastian Hardy) were better, and in Melbourne Focus were booed and the crowd called fro SH to come back on stage. Friend who saw the previous tour said it was brilliant but I was too young then to be allowed up to Sydney by myself.

If you want to shed a tear, smile, feel overjoyed and just let your emotions soar:
Shawn Lane - The Way It Has To Be
Arguably the greatest guitarist to have ever lived.
This is my favourite piece by him.
Feel free to watch any of his other videos.
You left us far, far too early, Shawn. Your shoes will never be filled.

Brian Adams, REM and Lady Smith Black Mbazo
Every morning I get woken up to the tune of Brian Adam's Summer of 69 going full pelt in my 16y old son's (Emiel) bedroom. In the car we cycle through the above and a CD of some local Launceston artists who play leather instruments that were designed and made by a now deceased local artist Gary Greenwood. We also have the token U2 disc as well.
