My C8 and a Hyperstar

After talking to Starizona I've decided to upgrade my used C8 to Hyperstar as Nebs seem to be the favorite subjects for my QHY8. Between that and the SW f5 BD newt (Thanks JJJ) with MPCC, I hope to have some satisfying results.

During the above Hyperstar discussions, I became curious as to how old my (bought used last year) C8 is. I've done the web searches, but found nothing that is relevant to my model.

Serial Number is 906104, and it's a gloss black model that was originally on a Celestron fork mount with Az-only drive. Pics attached.

It's a good little scope and suits my abilities. I'd just like to know more of its history.

Any info would be appreciated.
