Saw this 6 disc series (of Gene Roddenberry) at the local JB hi fi store - is it worth getting??

I've seen this on special myself at JB Hi-fi and would be interested. Recently purchased 4 seasons of Farscape for $120 which I never got to watch on commercial TV due too the late time slot and it's not bad for an Australian produced series

The Series is frankly a mess. Non continuous characters, bizarre story lines, "genetics with steroids and bizarre elicit inter-species marriage" sums it up nicely!

Season 1 is available for Region 4, and Season 2 for Region 4 was released April Fools Day 2009. The remaining 3 Seasons are unlikely to be released as it was continued by a different production company.

Own the 1st Series - wish I didn't. Absolute rubbish. Stick to Star Trek methinks.
