GPS - EQ6 Pro

Thanks to uncle Kevin and his Stimulus package I have bought myself a new GPS . I already had a GPS a Garmin eMap but the maps on it where way out so decided to retire it, however, is it possible to connect the GPS output to the EQ6 Pro? Anyone done it before?

Nope, won't work native. They even cut out a number of after market / competitor devices in their last patch/update. Best bet is using EQMOD which claims to have GPS SUPPORT (using NMEA streams). I dunno if that works either though.

It only sets the clock and co-ords anyway. You can easily type that in from a phone these days so why bother?
