Exclamation Asteroid to burn up over Sudan

This is the first I've heard of this.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2...07/2383796.htm

Perhaps someone else has more info?

According to the prediction we shouldn't see it but it might be worth being outside from 2.30 to 3.00 GMT (= 13.30-14.00 in NSW) just in case?

A mate just called and told me about it. Cool animation here

I is travelling relatively slow apparantly and shallow entry so it is possible that it might deflect back into space... at least the couple of emails sent from the list that Paul belongs to indicate. Hits the atmosphere around 12:45 real time (not DST) over Africa. If it is deflected into orbit, could reenter at any time I guess.
