Mercury and Venus 1° 45' 03" Separation.

Heres a photo I took this evening waiting for the full moon to rise (pics coming...)

The smaller image is the original file resized for forums, with 100% crops of each planet inserted into the image..

What makes it impressive enough to post on the internet you may ask? Well.. It was taken hand held, 600mm F/5.6 with a Canon 350D.

Going to give jupiter a shot later tonight... Just to see how it goes

i dunno about the envelope, but definitely my abilities...

I was actually pretty shocked that the full field of that lens only spans ~2° diagonally... Thats a pretty narrow field for a camera lens in my eyes...
