This turned out very strange - have I posted this before?

Interesting lens effect, I was playing but didn't expect to be visited (lol)...

Maybe this is how Hollywood derived the "alien-bigeye" phenomenon.

From memory and the length of the trails I think it was around an hour or so.

I thought that I had completely gaffed the shot so I got the torch out and went ballistic (as you do!).

Really dont know how the alieneyes came about, purely accidental...

Looks like a type of lens flare..

That must've been at a dark site, no sky glow after an hour??

Indeed it was - on the banks of the mighty Murray River, somewhere between Echuca and Swanhill...

Fishing during the day, astronomy at night...*sigh*
