International Sidewalk Astronomy Night

TO ALL AT ICE IN SPACE

Thanks for everyone who took their telescopes out last week for this international event. If anyone had any doubt as to the importance of these events in promoting Amateur Astronomy and public education, then read the comments of the the nearly 100 reports so far published from around the world.

This I am sure will be an annual event but you can do it just like John Dobson on any clear night. We enjoy it and the public just love looking through a telescope and learning about the night sky.
