New planetary eyepieces from William Optics

Andrews has details of the new SPL (Super Planetary Long eye relief) 1.25" eyepieces in 3mm, 6mm and 12.5mm focal lengths.

Apparent field is 55 degrees, and price is $179.00 AUD each.

They claim to be sharp to the edge (William Optics website). Will be interesting to see how they compare to the Pentax XF line.

If they perform as well as they claim, the 12.5mm is a low-cost contender to fill the gap in my eyepiece collection.

Interesting, thanks for the heads-up Morton. Would definitely like to try a couple.
