Asteroidal Occultation -Friday 30th March

Potential Occultationalists,

There is an asteroidal event worth monitoring this Friday (30th March) at 8:58UT (6:58pm).

The target star is nice and bright at mag. 7.5 and should be doable in the twilight.

For full details go here...
http://occsec.wellington.net.nz/plan...412_9671_u.htm

The path uncertainty means the shadow of the 13km diameter asteroid could go anywhere between The Entrance and Ulladulla, NSW and around the Christchuch area in NZ.

If you wish to be included in the planning for this event, please advise.

Regards
