Aristarchus and Copernicus

Hi folks,
this week I captured some moon details with the 10" f/6 newtonian + 2.5x barlow and DMK21. Copernicus and Vallis Schröter are one of my favorite moon areas.

That looks spectacular. In particular the Vallis Schröteri image gives an impression of being taken from an orbiter. Very impressive work.

Beautiful result, Werner. I love them both but also love the fly-over feeling of Aristarchus and Schroter's Valley.

That image is now IOTW.

Nice work Werner, these are two of my favourite lunar regions as well. The nicely controlled processing shows some lovely detail in Aristarchus.
