'SPORT' State of Origin day spent with the players

Today the family and I spent the day with the Rugby League State of Origin Players and 'Stars' from the past.

It was great to spend a bit of time with them all and especially for me to have a chat with DRAGONS stars Ben Hornby, Luke (Bull) Bailey and Matt Cooper.

Then I got cornered by Mario Fenech and we spent about half an hour talking about days gone by. Man O Man Mario can talk!!!

My kids got to meet their favourite players and have a talk, and Cheryl's long awaited dream come true: to meet and talk with her heart-throb Ex-Bronco Captain 'Gordon Tallis'.

It was a great day!

Here is a pic of the NSW Blues arriving. Then they just mingled and signed things and talked and generally relaxed.

We got so many things autographed we should open an ebay shop of 'State of Origin' memorabilia
