C/2011 l4 panstarrs

Comet C/2011 L4 PANSTARRS Very low on the horizon ~5 degrees. 15 x 1m 30s exposures, ISO1600 Canon 400D, 80mm @ ~370mmFL. Tracked on a borrowed LXD55 Mount. Skies - Clear, Transparency - like mud. Wind was gusting between 10-15knots most of the night.

I would like to specially thank Jeff@sa for letting me borrow his LXD55 mount, worked very well all night.

Nice one Andrew!

Less than ideal conditions for you, panstarrs will be interesting to follow. It's a different beasty to lemmon, that's for sure.

Cheers,

Justin.
