Lagoon and Trifid

Hi All,

Pointcraft in APT works so good and can easily get to what I want on screen.

The only problem is here is my mount and possibly levelness, although I thought I compensated for it.

A reasonable image with eggs covering a majority of the Trifid side of the image.

60 x Darks
60 x Flats
60 x Biases
Also, 60 x Dark Flats which I haven't used this round.

Thank Peter and Geoff.
I did over do the processing a bit I hope to one day re look at it but the nebulosity came out better than I expected, just the stars mix up a bit due to the 450D or something. I am looking at a lot of old images re-processing with newer techniques as well.

Just received a CLS filter today and hope once the weather breaks get some better images.

Cheers

Why would the camera be to blame?

Camera is very old now and I carried out some test recently and the noise level is horrible. I think the stars bleed over the next pixel very easy. I was hoping to get another dedicated camera but ran out of money.

It may be my processing as I overlaid a starless image with stars only. I may try a different method of processing..
