Lovejoy Dec 25th 3:00

Hello,

Its been a while for me but i finally had a chance last night.

Went to bed with cloud-covered skies but awoke at about 3:00 to find the skies had cleared.

Tried a quick setup to see if i could mount the camera on a cg5 but couldn't get the framing i wanted so in the end, did the tried-and-true, camera on tripod.

Canon 7D, 25sec, ISO 800, F/4, 17-40mm @ 17mm.

Some pp in PS (offset the brightest trailing stars). Not the best image but i was just glad to be able to see the comet.

Felt good to be imaging again.

Cheers
frank
